THANKFUL FOR SO MANY OPPORTUNITIES!
And some Thanksgiving fun, as well...

...to get us into the spirit. Sorry it's been awhile since I've checked in, I've been busy preparing for the holidays, as surely all of you have, too!

PETA hiring an actor for a commercial:

This PETA ad calls for nudity but promises a lot of positive "exposure" (wink, wink).

In other news, from the GIRLIE GIRL ARMY newsletter:

EVERYWHERE: NEW DISCOVERY CHANNEL SHOW HELPING SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS

Do you own or know of a small business in need of renovation or construction help? Whether it is a leaky roof, flood damaged floors, broken stairs or crumbling counters - if you deserve it, we want to help.. A new hour long docu-series will air on the Discovery Channel showing our construction team hard at work, restoring the damaged properties of hard working entrepreneurs struggling to push through during the recession. Dog shelters, restaurants, tattoo parlors and skateboard or record shops... all businesses are welcome to apply. If your business is in need of a major fix-up or know of one that does, please contact Cara at renovationshow@gmail.com. Tell us the name of your business, a brief description of the role it plays in the community and what needs to be fixed. Please include your name and telephone number so we can follow up and hear more about your situation.
